Scouts

Cub scouts in our ward for Tavio has not been the greatest. Every year when he has his birthday, they do a ton of stuff, then the new school year starts and he gets some other leader, and usually doen't get much else done. Webelos was the worst year of the 3. Sometime in January I looked at what he had done, and what he needed and he hadn't got anything done since June. So, I started e-mailing and we got things done so that he would get his arrow of light by his birthday. He was done in plenty of time to get it in March, but it was Blue and Gold, so they wouldn't do it, then in April they did pinewood derby, so they wouldn't do it. So here it is the end of May, and we were returning to pack meeting to get the arrow of light. Meanwhile, he is in boyscouts and already has earned his Tenderfoot. So, the first picture is of him getting his Tenderfoot last Sunday. The rest are of pack meeting last Thursday where he finally got his arrow of light and remaining pins from Webelos. He so did not want to go back to scouts. I don't feel like the leaders really wanted to do it either. They read their little script, but I don't think they had ever read it before, and although they had costumes that had been made the year before Duncan, they wouldn't wear them. Not sure why we killed ourselves to go since Duncan was in rare form that evening.
Could they look any more enthused? I'm thinking his friend is about as excited about this whole thing as he is. (Their birthday's are within a week of each other, and he also just got his Tenderfoot the Sunday before.)

Someone needs to have a talk with the photographer of this picture. Not sure what happened, but all of my pictures of them crossing the bridge are blurey. Couldn't have anything to do with the fact that the photographer was also wrangling a baby could it?
