Spring Break

OK, so I'm a major slacker in posting since I haven't posted any more that Tavio's birthday at the beginning of March. I've started to post spring break a couple of times, but never finished. Anyway, here is what we did during spring break.

Above - Tavio had a webelos 5 mile hike. Duncan and Brandon went along.
Below - we finally took out a plant in our front yard that we thought was a little thing when we planted it, but that ended up becoming so large. It was right next to a Saga palm. Both could not stay, so this one had to go. WE had tried to take it out once before, but underestimated the size of it and came back on a day when we had more time.

The next few pictures are from playgroup the week of spring break. We have playgroup every Friday, but this week it was at a park that had a splashpad. It was a bit cool, so the boys said they didn't want to get wet. I suggested they at least take a towel - just in case. Noone took a towel or anything, but of course the water called them, and they got wet. You can see Duncan wringing out his shirt, and Tavio drying off in the sun. He was also making bum prints on the sidewalk. Benjamin at the beginning got his pants wet, and ran around with them down because he didn't want them on, and he didn't want them off. He finally did take them off as you can see. They had a great time, but they were sopping wet when they wanted to get in the car. :)

Above - I wasn't going to garden this year becasue life is so busy with a fussy baby who has also been a bit sick lately. However, Duncan started his gardening merit badge, so we now have a garden. Here are the boys getting their garden ready.
Below -we went out to Brehnam to visit Bluebell (the best ice cream around for all of my family unfamiliar with Bluebell.) There we toured the plant. The wait was quite long, but we ate some ice cream as we waited. That helped. Poor Aaron did get hungry by the end. Unfortunately Brandon made me put the camera away becasue a sign said we couldn't take them in, so we got no pictures outside while waiting. This is just a picture of Benjamin putting on his had in the car on the way home.
