Day one of our Family vacation was driving almost to Carlsbad caverns. Day 2 started with the last hour to get there, then the 1.1 mile hike around the big room. All of the boys really enjoyed it. Benjamin wanted to walk himself, but had to be carried at some points.
Tavio really enjoyed reading all of the signs about the formations inside the cave. He and I were usually behind Brandon, Duncan and Benjamin.
I liked this picture because it showed how the watter dripped down to form all of the formations in the caves. It also caught a drop dripping into the pool below. It is the backside of the large formation to the right of the boys in the picture below.
Duncan, Brandon and Benjamin. Benjamin spent much of the time walking, but when he was tired or dragging too far behind, he got to ride on Daddy's shoulders.
