Aaron's birthday morning

Aaron's birthday was a super busy day. Brandon had just arrived home from Barcelona the night before, and I was headed to a exercise weekend that evening and next day. Duncan and Tavio were headed to SHAC jam - a 100 year boy scouts celebration for our Area council, plus they had school and were gone before Aaron woke up in the morning. So we kind of split things up. We let Aaron open some presents in the morning even though Duncan and Tavio weren't there, and we did some fun things with him - like going to the park. Then Brandon made him a cake for the evening and Spaghetti even though Duncan and I were not at dinner.
These are the pictures of Aaron opening presents in the morning. It was so cute. He would open a present then play with it for a long time, then we'd give him another one and he would open it. That was nice becasue we wanted to save some presents for Sunday when the family would all be home and we would do cake and ice cream.

This present cracks me up because he picked it at the store, played with it through the whole store and in the car on the way home, then I took it and put it away in the closet and saved it for his birthday. Gotta love when they are only 2. :)
