Bayou wildlife park

OK, so this first one definitely isn't Bayou wildlife park, but isn't Aaron a cutie?
So, Saturday a friend of ours in the ward organized a trip to Bayou wildlife park. We didn't even know this place existed. Basically it was an animal park with safari type animals. You got to take a little tram ride where they gave you a bucket of food and the animals came right up to the tram and ate out of your buckets - camels are piglets by the way. :) After the tram, the boys got to go to the petting zoo section, and there were pony rides. It was a fun morning.

Tavio on his pony ride
Benjamin wouldn't go on a pony ride.
Here I am trying to get Benjamin to pet the animals. He wouldn't. I was glad that he at least went into the petting zoo part. He was in a bad mood. (see below.)

Doesn't he look tired. First of all, we had kids night out on Friday night at our house, so Benjamin didn't get to bed until around 9:30 maybe a bit later. Then, he woke up for some unknown reason - I think maybe he fell out of bed, but he wouldn't go back to bed. He woke up at around 12:30 and didn't fall back to sleep until 4:30. We tried everything to get him to go back to bed, but nothing worked - not even snuggling with him. Needless to say, he was less than happy during most of the day. I thought he would really enjoy the trip, but he was afraid of the animals, took a ton of time to warm up in the tram, wouldn't pet any animals in the petting zoo - not even the baby ones, and wouldn't ride a pony - even though we always have to go and walk past the horsies on our walks in the neighborhood, and he lets me know when he sees horses out as we pass ranches with horses when we are out and about.
He did eventually warm up and feed the animals with Brandon's help.
