Here are Tavio and Duncan. Tavio went trick or treating for about 3 houses with us and then ran into his friends and went with them. Duncan went to a party at a friends house. They went trick or treating as part of their party and at the end the parents weighed each boy without their candy bucket, then with their candy bucket. They gave a prize of a toothbrush and toothpaste to the boy with the heaviest bag. (6 lb. 9 oz) and Duncan got the prize for the lightest bag (5 lb) which was more candy. Duncan later told me that he had had more candy in all of his pockets because his bucket was full, but he got tired of running with it so he got rid of it.

How fun! I am sure soon Jocelyn and Kaitlyn will be going with friends instead of me or Brian... It makes me treasure more the times I get to take them :)
We actually both went trick or treating with the little boys (even though Aaron didn't really trick or treat - he was just along for the walk.) We just left a bucket of candy in our yard. Usually one of us stays and one goes with the kids, but we both felt like going this year. Probably was us subconsciously wanting to treasure that time more.
